A lot of Chinese vegetable dishes are famous for their simplicity. It is actually amazing how such little preparation and effort can produce such vibrant flavours. All it takes is fresh ingredients, and a very tasty sauce.
Making the first part of this dish straightforward, simply add a drop or two of cooking oil before blanching the vegetables. The cooking oil coats the vegetables so they look fresh and green. Don’t leave them too long in the boiling water though, perfectly blanched vegetables should be somewhat crunchy. Lastly, drain the water from the vegetables before drizzling over it with Life Oyster Flavoured Sauce.
